Paleo Tahini Banana Bread (Gluten-free, dairy-free) - this week I tried making tahini banana bread. I meant to take a picture to share with you all, but it was gone before I remembered⦠I donāt know if that says more about me or the banana bread. But I can assure you, it was very good.
Quinoa Edamame Salad With Miso Dressing - I picked up a tub of miso last week and have officially been on a miso kick since. It honestly tastes good in everything, soups, stir fries, dressings, etc. I came across this salad recipe and Iām planning to try it this week. I love a good Asian-inspired salad, and quinoa salads are the best because you can make them at the beginning of the week and enjoy them all week long.

š§ CORE Convo:
Fear, Movement, and What It Takes to Heal: Lessons from 40 Years in Physical Therapy with Carl Gustafson: This week on CORE, we spoke with Carl Gustafson - Director of Physical Therapy in the Sports Medicine Division at Boston Childrenās Hospital, founder of TherexPT, and a close family friend from Medfield. With four decades in physical therapy and strength & conditioning, Carl has worked with youth athletes through elite professionals across every level of sport, helping people understand movement, recovery, and long-term health.
One of our biggest takeaways from the conversation was Carlās belief that real fitness comes from balance. Strength, flexibility, and endurance all matter, but most people drift into over-focusing on one while letting the others slip. His reminder was simple: progress isnāt dramatic. āOne more than last timeā is enough.
We also talked about how fear is often the real limiter when it comes to injury, recovery, or even stepping into a gym.
š° Weekly Tid-Bit:
See the little things. āOne more than last timeā is enough, in Carlās words.
In our fast-paced, overstimulated, overcrowded lives, itās easy to rush through the day and miss the small signals around usāthe quiet reminders that weāre doing okay, and that life is holding us more than we realize.
I mentioned the power of a walk last week, and Iāve been thinking about how often on my walks I notice little āGod winks.ā To me, these are small signs that remind me God is with me, smiling down on me, and guiding me through my day. Whether you call it God, the Universe, or just simple reminders, theyāre always there - but you have to slow down enough to notice them.
Here are some of the āGod winksā Iāve been noticing on my walk to work lately. This week, I encourage you to notice at least one small sign that helps you feel grounded and present - something that gently reminds you that you are loved and youāre not moving through life alone.
